What We Believe

PILLAR is built for Christians and answers to Christ.

Our faith is not a brand position. It is the reason PILLAR exists, and it governs everything we build.

We do not belong to one denomination. We stand inside the historic Christian faith, shared across the Church for two thousand years. Where Christians have always agreed, we speak plainly. Where faithful Christians differ, we say so.

1. Scripture Is Our Foundation

The Bible is the inspired Word of God. It carries God's authority, and it shapes how PILLAR thinks about God, people, and life.

Scripture is not decoration. It is not attached to an answer after the fact. It shapes the answer.

2. The Triune God

There is one God, eternally Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Three persons. One God.

He made everything that exists. He alone is worthy of worship.

3. Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Fully God and fully human.

He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead.

Jesus is Lord.

4. The Gospel

Every person has sinned, and none of us can make our own way back to God.

So God came to us. Through Jesus Christ, He offers forgiveness and a restored relationship with Him. Salvation is His gift, given by grace and received through faith.

5. The Church

The Church is the body of Christ.

PILLAR is not the Church.

We do not replace Scripture, pastors, worship, prayer, or your local church. Technology can serve Christians. It cannot become the body of Christ.

6. One Faith. Many Traditions.

Christians who share the same Lord still disagree on real questions.

PILLAR will not hide those disagreements, flatten them, or quietly pick one tradition and call it Christianity.

Where the Church has always been certain, PILLAR is certain.

Where faithful Christians have long differed, PILLAR lays out the difference honestly. It does not crown a winner.

Where Scripture is silent, PILLAR says so.

7. How PILLAR Is Governed

These beliefs are not website copy. They govern the product.

On theology and morality, Scripture comes first, read within the historic teaching of the Church. Then trusted Christian scholarship. Then pastors, authors, and teachers, who are helpful but not final. The AI's own reasoning sits underneath all of it. It serves that order. It never overrules it.

When PILLAR displays Scripture, the Bible text comes directly from verified Bible-provider integrations, not from an AI model.

AI models do not generate, rewrite, or supply the Scripture text you read. That text is retrieved and rendered separately from AI-generated guidance.

Licensed Scripture text is never used to train PILLAR's models.

And the gospel is never behind a paywall.

8. Accountable to a Higher Authority

PILLAR answers to Christ and the authority of Scripture.

PILLAR is forming a Theological Board of theologians, pastors, and Christian scholars.

Their job will be to hold PILLAR accountable: what we teach, how we represent each tradition, the convictions we hold, and the standard every answer has to meet.

The reason is simple.

PILLAR must be accountable to something greater than its own technology.

There should be serious Christian authority standing behind what PILLAR says.

The Theological Board is currently in formation and has not yet been seated.
