Last updated: June 2026These Terms govern your use of PILLAR. PILLAR offers Scripture-grounded AI guidance for private questions, prayer, decisions, relationships, and faithful next steps. PILLAR is not a pastor, therapist, doctor, lawyer, or emergency service.
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
By using PILLAR, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 13 years old to use PILLAR. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use PILLAR only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. What PILLAR Is
PILLAR is an AI-powered Christian guidance app. It is designed to help users think through private questions, Scripture-grounded reflection, prayer, decisions, relationships, and faithful next steps.
3. What PILLAR Is Not
PILLAR is not a pastor, priest, minister, counselor, therapist, doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, emergency service, crisis line, or substitute for qualified human care. PILLAR does not provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
Do not rely on PILLAR in an emergency. If you or someone else may be in danger, call local emergency services. In the United States, you can call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline or dial 911 for emergencies.
4. User Responsibility
AI-generated responses can be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for evaluating responses and for decisions you make. For important spiritual, relational, medical, legal, financial, safety, or life decisions, seek appropriate help from qualified people you trust.
5. Accounts and Subscriptions
You are responsible for your account and for keeping sign-in credentials secure. Some features may be free during early access. If paid subscriptions are offered, pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refund terms will be shown at purchase and may be managed by the app store, payment processor, and subscription infrastructure such as RevenueCat.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use PILLAR to:
- Violate the law or the rights of another person.
- Harass, abuse, threaten, exploit, or harm others.
- Create or request sexually explicit content, especially involving minors.
- Seek emergency, medical, mental health, legal, or financial services from PILLAR.
- Submit content you do not have the right to provide.
- Reverse engineer, probe, scrape, overload, or interfere with PILLAR or its systems.
- Circumvent access controls, entitlement checks, usage limits, safety systems, or security measures.
7. Content and Feedback
You retain responsibility for the content you submit. You give PILLAR permission to use your submitted content as needed to provide, secure, support, debug, and improve the app. Feedback or suggestions you send may be used without compensation.
8. Availability and Changes
PILLAR may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features at any time. We may update these Terms as the app develops. Continued use after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Disclaimers and Limits
PILLAR is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PILLAR will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Suspension or Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we believe an account violates these Terms, creates risk, or misuses PILLAR. You may stop using PILLAR at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
